FT Sea Otter

The FT Sea Otter is storming the seas—and shocking the skies—with its "otter-ly" awesome performance!
Designed by the brilliant Peter "Mad Scientist" Sripol, this latest seaplane masterpiece brings fresh light to float flying. Crafted with newer pilots in mind, it offers a simpler, more approachable intro to seaplanes—making it an ideal intermediate step-up (not quite a first plane for most, but perfect for building skills and confidence).
This versatile beast conquers water takeoffs and landings, glides smoothly over snow, or launches effortlessly from solid ground. It feels incredible in the air—stable, responsive, and forgiving—while looking absolutely stunning on the water with its classic lines.
Whether you're splashing in ponds, carving snowy runs, or just enjoying land ops, the Sea Otter delivers pure fun and versatility that keeps the excitement flowing.

Love ft and the way they do business
Love the plane, but I don't seem to have enough power with the b pack. It will not take off from water. It will barely stay in the air with a hand launch, also using 3s 2250 mah. Any thoughts or should I go to c motor. Maybe I put to much glue in it?

Yay For Water Planes!
Got my first maiden in the other day, this plane is fun! Next will be the Seaduck when it's released!

Great Kit!
I bought the speed build kit and power pack B. As with all the speed build kits, this one is going together nicely. Peter did a great job with the build video as well. I did have to supply an extra servo extension for the elevator servo as the extension provided could have been a little longer. Other than that, everything has been sweet!
