Flite Test Mighty Mini Fw 190
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 Wurger or Shrike in English, was named after a small carnivorous bird of prey known for impaling Its prey on spikes and shared the nickname 'Butcherbird'. One of World War II's most iconic military aircraft, Its first air-to-air engagement occurred over Dunkirk, France on September 1st, 1941. The Fw 190 proved superior in all but turn radius to the Spitfire Mk V, especially at low and medium altitudes, and Its introduction prompted the RAF to make serious plans to steal one! The Fw 190 was one of the only radial engine fighter aircraft used in Europe at the time. The twin-row BMW radial engine enabled the Fw 190 to lift larger loads than the Bf 109, allowing its use as a day fighter, fighter-bomber, ground-attack aircraft, and, to a lesser degree, night fighter.
The Fw 190 would go on to become the favorite of Germany's highest-scoring fighter aces. The Flite Test Mighty Mini Fw 190 is a fast but smooth flyer with the rates dialed back. The Aura 5 will also smooth out your flights by removing the adverse effects of gusty wind. Turn up the rates and cut up the sky with crazy aerobatics. The Mini Fw 190 uses the Power Pack F for great power and efficiency. Once built, customize your Fw 190 by scuffing, painting, and adding the included decals for a finished scale appearance.

This thing flies so well! I'm just learning and I've had lots of crashes just trying to get in the air but this plane leaps out of your hand and is easy to control. Was the best 3 minutes of my life! I stuffed it at the end but besides from breaking the motor mount the plane is in really good shape. I'll have it in the air tomorrow. Can't recommend this plane enough.
When dialed in, it flies like on rails, solid as a rock.
Very solid flyer. Easy to launch, very controllable at both slow and high speeds.
Scale look is over the top and it's not hard at all to build.
The reason for four starts is due to some design flaws. As a belly lander, she's prone to aileron servo stripping. I added servo guards, but the wing is designed in a way that it's virtually impossible to replace aileron servos if they get stripped.
The electronics and battery area is also hard to access. I modified it as well to be able to put the batt in properly.
Any intermediate builder can work with this, so it's not a biggie. But sure fun to fly!
This plane was extremely fun to build and the build video was great as well. However I couldn't get this thing to fly. It just seem to stall out and then crash. I had repaired it for times with only some bent wing tips being the damage. On its last flight it just stalled and destroyed itself. I put a lot of money and time into this plane and it just didn't work for me. I don't know if the design is flawed or if it was me flying but it just proved to make me upset after about two months and over $100 in upgrades to get it to fly. I'm thinking about maybe buying one again but I'm uncertain and frustrated.
