The Ft Yak 55 XL was a passion project created by Michael Bixler.
Michael has had a long-time passion for crazy 3D aerobatics and a love of Designing aircraft. The FT Yak 55 XL was created to build quickly without compromising both performance and ability. Whether you're brand new to the world of aerobatic flight or an established pilot looking to keep their skills honed, the Yak 55 XL will meet you where you're at and take you even further.
This four-channel aircraft can easily perform all the classic 3D Maneuvers like torque rolls, High alpha, hovering, knife edge spins, and so much more. utilizing a Common three-cell 3300 milliamp battery, you can expect flight times between 5 and 8 minutes. This aircraft is a perfect stepping stone to much more expensive and complicated platforms but will never leave you bored. If you're looking to take your skills to the next level, the FT Yak 55 XL is your ticket
