The FT Space Fighter is a futuristic, high-performance aircraft designed by laser master Jason McQuiston, built to look incredible and fly even better. This space-age fighter assembles quickly and delivers smooth, confidence-inspiring performance in the air. With eye-catching features like front canards and twin vertical stabilizers, the FT Space Fighter remains stable, responsive, and maneuverable at every speed.
Inspired by iconic community member T3chDad and his legendary X-41 Delta Storm, this design has already been proven by thousands of successful builds around the world. Jason set out to reimagine this beloved aircraft with the classic Flite Test treatment, refining the build process while enhancing its flight characteristics.
Using familiar Flite Test construction techniques, you can have this aircraft built and ready to fly in as little as 45 minutes. Beginners can power it with the FT Power Pack B v2 for smooth, forgiving flight without sacrificing impressive vertical performance. Want more excitement? Step up to the FT Pusher Power Add-on and unleash thrilling speed and punch-out power that feels truly out of this world.
At Flite Test, we celebrate aviation and the community that makes it special—and the FT Space Fighter is a perfect example of both. If you’re looking for a fast-building, futuristic aircraft with outstanding flight performance, your mission starts here.

Something Different
Very touchy on full rates but can be toned down and tuned for easy cruising and will perform all basic aerobatics. I fly mine on 4s turning a 9.5x7.5 prop 30 amp wot, maybe 60mph top with unlimited vertical performance. I did add rudders which really helps coordinate turns. Take it up 300foot on high rates, cut the throttle, full left or right aileron, and it spins down like a lawn dart! Touchy in the wind but a great flier in calm conditions ... Something different ...

My first plane!
This is the first plane I have ever built, flown, and crashed. I did it 100% on my own using the YouTube video with no prior build experience. I am absolutely in love with this thing.
