The FT Mighty Mini DR1 Triplane was designed to build fast, fly slow, and look incredible both on the ground and in the air. We took an aircraft famous for being a handful and reimagined it to be approachable, forgiving, and fun—without losing its iconic character.
This 3-channel slow-fly warbird is incredibly nimble, capable of turning on a dime and flying comfortably in very small spaces. Despite its gentle flight envelope, the Mini DR1 is fully capable of classic aerobatics like loops, barrel rolls, wing-overs, and more, making every flight engaging and rewarding.
The FT Mighty Mini DR1 Triplane also pairs perfectly with its legendary rival, the FT Mighty Mini SE5 Biplane. Together, they bring history to life, letting you recreate epic World War I dogfights right in your own backyard.
