Faithfully capturing the iconic lines of one of the most legendary warbirds ever flown, the FT Master Series Mustang gives builders the option to create either a P-51D with a bubble canopy or a P-51B with a classic razorback canopy, allowing you to customize the look to your preference.
In the air, the Mustang shines with smooth, predictable handling and high-energy performance. It is fully capable of classic warbird aerobatics and fast, confident flight that experienced 4-channel pilots will appreciate.
Powered by the Flite Test Power Pack C and utilizing a traditional 4-channel setup, this aircraft offers a wide performance envelope that intermediate and advanced pilots will love. Mustang on rails!
Truth be told, I didn’t build mine, but I have a signed P-51 used in a Flite Test show episode. On a 4S 2200, it can do all the aerobatics. It flies well inverted and rolls well. It won’t quite knife-edge, but I love flying it!
