FT Master Series Corsair MKR2
RC Airplane Build Kit
With a revolutionary "Mold Together" design for RC planes, the FT Master Series Corsair represents a new chapter of Flite Test scratch built aircraft!
FT Master Series Corsair MKR2
The FT Corsair represents a new chapter of Flite Test scratch built aircraft! Using techniques developed by John Overstreet which he has also used in his metalworking, this plane uses "mold together" techniques instead of the traditional "fold together" techniques that Flite Test planes are primarily known for. Peeling the paper and curving the foam not only gives the airplanes amazing scale looks but also makes it fly as good as it looks!
On this Corsair, you'll notice the beautiful curves in the airfoil and the fuselage that is a result of some of the new techniques that Flite Test is introducing. While some of these techniques will feel new if this is not your first Flite Test build, please know that once you learn them, they will be carrying over to future Flite Test aircraft so you can put them to use on future designs. There are also techniques used in the build that you are going to be very familiar with if you have built previous Flite Test aircraft.
This aircraft has a very wide envelope of speed and performance to match your skill level. Though this airplane does introduce some new build techniques you can consider it a beginner to an intermediate flyer! Bumping it up to a 4-cell battery can even give the most advanced pilots a great experience.

Master Series Corsair
I'm not new to building and scratch building models including Tissue / balsa airplanes, model railways, ships, etc. (yes, I'm OLD) This is my first foam airplane ever and I am AMAZED. this opens up a whole bunch of ideas and possibilities. This is also the first model I have built with video instructions. THAT WAS COOL!!! Couple of mistakes on my part (nothing drastic) with lessons learned and just a wrinkle or two but the plane came out AWESOME so I can say that the most inexperienced builder can build a great plane first try if you just follow the instructions. THANKS FLITE TEST

Master series F4U
I really enjoy this plane. It was definitely more difficult to build than most FT builds but just follow the video you can do it. I did modify mine with landing gear and I doubled the sides of the fuselage with foamboard from firewall to just passed the wing . This saved my plane from being totaled! Landing gear works great makes the plane easy-to-use at my field. It flies way better than I ever thought it would. I also built the p47 and the F4U seems to perform better.
