The FT Mini Guinea is a small twin with a big personality. This plane offeres so much versatility it is insane!  Whether you are a beginner looking to build your first twin or you are an advanced pilot looking for a very small and versatile platform, the Mini Guinea can do it all! Using differential thrust the Mini Guinea is capable of a wide variety of manuvers such as flat spins, pin wheels, and even harriers. I really love how easy this kit makes it to build the Mini Guinea.

  • Brilliant Model !

Buying the kit from Flite Test is a no-brainer - no way could you justify printing the plans, buying all the materials, & then cutting it all out by hand. The quality of the laser cut foam is perfect - especially the way they can cut half way through the foam where required !

    Only 2 questions :
    - The build video shows the paint stick being cut into 2 lengths for the laminated main spar, with enough left over for the nose-wheel supports - there is no left-over for the supports.
    - The laminated paint stick spar is 7mm thick, whereas the outer foam-board spars/spacers are only 4.8mm thick. Does this mean that the wing gets thinner towards the tips ?

This is my second MG kit as the first has been worn out from constant use. It is the most satisfying model kit I have ever built and flown. My first became a hit with the kids after many parachute drops and later, my first FPV platform (for which it is an excellent model). I cannot recommend this kit enough as a first twin engine model or FPV platform. Just get one.
