FT Bravo WR (736mm)
The FT Bravo was designed and created by FT STEM students to showcase the Engineering and Design Learning Strand of our curriculum, Click here for more info. Proceeds of this project along with all the STEM Series aircraft will go towards supporting schools take flight using FT STEM.
The FT Bravo was designed to be a quick and challenging to fly build, this is the fastest and most agile plane of the Triad series.
The FT Bravo is compatible with the FT Alpha and FT Charlie kits. Each airplanes’ wings are built to be removable from the fuselage, and can be swapped with any of the other Triad planes, giving the builder essentially 9 planes to choose from.
The swapping of wings takes less than a minute and is supported by rubber bands!
There is no need to re-calibrate the center of gravity on the aircraft after swapping, the CG remains the same no matter what combination you configure. This is great for the flight line and swapping with others, making it an enjoyable experience for all.
We want you to have an amazing experience both in building and flying. This kit comes with everything you need to complete the FT Bravo Aircraft. Push-rods, control horns, firewalls and all other items needed to make this airframe electronics ready are included in the kit. If you choose to purchase our power pack F and a battery, balance, flight performance and assembly will be quick and easy.

Step By Step Build Tutorial Of The FT Bravo
Please watch recent build videos before removing any paper from the foam! Some videos may use white foam board, which is no longer available and has now been replaced with water-resistant foam board.
I've been in the hobby of flying fixed wing RC aircraft since 2006. I started off flying scratchbuilt planes from downloaded plans and using dollar store foam boards. Since then I began building wood planes and focused on larger ARF and PNP aircraft. This kit is the first foam board plane I've built in a many years and it reminded me just how fun it was to build from foam boards. The plane flies great. It can be a handful on high rate and on windy days. Also, I used a red bottom quad motor with a 4 cell battery, hovers at half throttle but also cruises slowly. If I were to do it again I'd stick to the recommended setup. This plane isn't built for speed. It's better to keep it light and slow, that way you can impress your friends with slow high alphas. A lot of value in this kit. Recommended!
