FT Baby Blender WR (610mm)

FT Baby Blender WR (610mm)

The Baby Blender Swappable is an excellent transition into four channel flying and more advanced building techniques. With gentle stall characteristics and a wide speed envelope, the Baby Blender will enable you to experience all the benefits of four channel flight. Tight loops, rolls, hammerheads, snap rolls, inverted, and even high alpha are all possible with this design. The Baby Blender will quickly take away your intimidation of flying a four channel biplane, and take you back to your childhood when the only limitation was the lead in your pencil and the size of your paper.

Difficult build - no instructions. I watched the video (hard to find) but starting and stopping a video is much more difficult than reading written instructions. Foam delaminating when painted. Battery swapping requires disassembly of power pod from the model - surely there must be a better way. Landing gear is a joke - far too weak and wobbly. Your videos show the plane landing, but the gear as delivered is no way going to give that result. Lots of "extras" in the speed-build package (screw-drivers, servo extensions, etc.) but that doesn't make up for poor design. And your video shows putting the zip-tie in from the bottom, which then blocks the area where you need to put the battery.

I got the baby blender and put it together in one to two hours.easy to build best one that I ever did. Have a hard time with making. The landing gear but I always have never come out right. It would be nice if they came already made. But I'll keep trying. After building the baby blender. I started a Three wing Blender. With a GT2820/06 brushless motor in it it may be to big but more power is better.

Everything is cut perfect... The only issue is that the elevator is weak where it passes through the rudder. The addition of popcicle stick in the middle helps. The laser that cuts the foam melts it back from the edges sometimes a little to far. Other than that great build!
