FMS Typhoon Plug-N-Play Electric Airplane (1100mm)
I've seen reviews that others have given saying that the 40-45mm back of leading edge cg makes the plane unstable. I check on the web forums and found that that is too far forward. What the concensus seems to be is 60-70mm back. And even running a 4s 3200 battery all the way down forward on the tray, I added a 10gm weight on the foam inside behind the spinner. Lots of room there.

Well I put it all together, took off like it was on rails, windy day also, then I started to see tail heavy traits real fast,(been flying R/C ,since reeds, 1964)Big transmiters, box kites for planes ,etc. so I tried to keep my Thoughts in check, but I knew it would stall in a minor turn, immediatly, had to attempt it,well it stalled on a dime into a small tree, which I planned on,so,do not believe the MFG. conversion/of anything they say sucks, with China,Japan, translation.Back to the tree/catch,!Every foam plane I ever buit, including a Sureflight,Spitfire, has had the CG off by 1/2" to 1",just be careful guys, better to check yo" self/ before yo' wreck yourself,! took 2 1/2,ounces to set it straight.A lot of Mustang pilots were killed because of the fuel tank behind the pilot, full at take off, minimal wing fuel, recipe for disaster.Just think of that Rolls/Royce Merlin, buried, in the ground,! What a lesson he learned.!So I sold it for what I had in it,It's a preety plane and I saw one out side a museum, that and a Sea/Fury,made a P-47,look like the poster child,of WW 1. Check your c/g,with and without fuel,go with slightly nose heavy, first, usually the thickest part of the wing is the c/g,unless its got a swept wing then you have to tri/ calculate/a equation.I have to reference that but it is kinda simple, like Sig's Cobra, and the other brother to it,that is a real design, good luck, speed is life,!!airspeed
