The North American Aviation P51 Mustang was an American long range single seat fighter. It proved itself to be economical, fast, well made and highly durable. Power originally came from an Allison but it was much more successful with the mighty Merlin from Rolls Royce.

The Famous models P51 Mustang has been carefully created to give maximum reward to the budding pilot. The aircraft features a brushless motor, 20Amp ESC and 4 ready installed servos. Assembly takes minutes following the simple photo step by step assembly guide.

The EPP construction gives a light yet resilient airframe that will take much punishment and just bounce right back into the air!

Compact, adrenaline fuelled, big packet of fun still doesn't do verbal justice to this airframe, we love it! Dog fights really become genuine fun with this range of aircraft so what are you waiting for.

FMS P-51D Mustang V2 Plug-N-Play Electric Airplane (Big Beautiful Doll) (800mm)
Unfortunately, I am not happy with this plane, I have a few different FMS warbirds this size and love them all. It definitely looks good, don't get me wrong, but it is super fragile. My FMS Zero has been to hell and back and still looks and flies beautifully. But on the p51 BBD, I had one hard landing (caused because the recommended battery and CG were completely wrong, should have known better though, my other FMS planes had same issue) and the firewall/motor mount completely detached from whatever it was "secured" to. It seemed to just be a piece of foam the motor was mounted to and just slid into a slot in the foam at the from of the fuselage. I'm not saying don't by this, but if you do, absolutely use a 3s 850 and make sure your CG is good. Also check out the GMS Zero 800mm, it's absolutely one of my favorite planes.

FMS P-51D Mustang V2 Plug-N-Play Electric Airplane (Big Beautiful Doll) (800mm)
I received this kit as a birthday gift the packaging was very good.
Most of the airplane was put together very well, but when I tried to spin the propeller, it was locked up and the motor rattle around in the cowl.
the cowl cannot be removed and the motor was not screwed to the firewall so it was very difficult to get the Allen wrench through the holes in the side of the fuselage to loosen the motor grub screws. But after an hour we finally had the motor out and could screw the motor mount to the firewall with the screws that were jammed in the motor windings. With the motor mount now properly mounted it was easy to mount the motor in the mount since the grub screws lined up with the holes in the cowl. Fortunately the windings were not damaged by the screws and the motor ran properly.
The model is a good flyer for intermediate pilots. Beginners will find that it loses altitude in the turns very easily if the rudder and elevator input is not balanced with the aileron. It does slow down nicely for Landings, but is kind of squirrelly on take off.

FMS P-51D Mustang V2 Plug-N-Play Electric Airplane (Big Beautiful Doll) (800mm)
I purchased this plane when I opened the package I found that the ESC wasn't connected it took me nearly an hour to attach the motor wire plugs I had to push the ESC wires right down to the opening I front of the fuselage and use a pair of pliers to pull the wires of the motor and the ESC out just enough to plug them in after starting the plane to my dismay the motor was spinning the wrong way so I had to go through the whole process again and changed the yellow wire and the black wire and finally the motor spun the right way I thought the ESC was supposed to already connected a bit of a hassle to do I guess it was too hard for the person doing the job all good now thank goodness
