Flite Test Micro Airliner Electric RTF Airplane (550mm)

$54.99

Now boarding all seats and all rows on Flite Test Airlines’ new micro Airliner.  The FT Airliner kit is the perfect entry into powered RC flight for students, teachers, families or learners of all ages.

Flights with the FT Micro Airliner are smooth and stable with the stabilization board, making it easy for even new pilots to be successful.  The FT Micro Airliner uses the FT 3 channel EZ Pack which provides differential thrust to steer (yaw), and the altitude (pitch) is controlled by the elevator.  Great for flying outdoors or indoors in large areas, like gymnasiums.  The transmitter has low rates for inexperienced flyers and high rates for tighter turns and faster elevation changes for more experienced flyers.

The kit includes everything that you need for a successful flight - the aircraft kit, LiPo battery, transmitter, USB LiPo charging cable, and even a tube of glue is included (only needs 3 AA batteries for the transmitter).  Charge the aircraft battery using the included USB cable while you build, so you and your students will be ready to fly!

Start here with the FT Micro Airliner kit for classroom STEM projects, after-school programs, STEM summer camps, or fun family STEM projects.

My youngest son got this when we visited Edgewater. My oldest got another Tiny Trainer. When we flew this one, my youngest absolutely loved it. So much so, he wouldn't let his older brother do anything but taxi. So, we went out the next day and bought another. Great plane that can even take a little wind. The freighter has to be no wind as there is no way to bring it down except cutting the throttle! Highly recommend for a beginner pilot.

Awesomeness! Everything from flitetest is Awesomsauce!! You guys are killing it! Super fan actually what got me into the hobby! Love every thing in the box and the only reason why I gave it 4 stars is that if the controller board already has the “light plug” you guys should have included the led light set to go with it. Comparing prices between this one and the freighter. Otherwise should be the same cost! In my opinion.

    thanks you!

    I love this plane.
Easy to assemble, easy to fly and will be gifting more to friends and family.
I highly recommend this plane for beginners or anyone who likes to relax a bit while flying.
I was impressed by the precision of all the foam and plastic pieces. Everything fit perfectly and it looks really good when finished.

I do however have a few things I personally would change about this kit.

    1. A slight design change would allow the wings to be removable. Either using a rubber band style attachment or something similar. While this plane is relatively durable, it's would be easy to kink a wing.

And that bring me to the next part.

    2. You can see the high quality box that it comes in, handle and all. Sadly, after you put it together the box, and Styrofoam insert are rendered useless (unless you want to cut it up and make another plane). By changing the box design into a longer narrower box, and having removable wings, the box could then be used for transport and storage. It's probably easier to damage the plane transporting it than it is flying it.

    Fly on!
