Flite Test FT P-38 Lightning Electric Airplane Kit (1460mm)
Amazing airplane. Just finished building after about a week of casual nights. Flew it for the first time a few days ago and I am amazed how well it flies. Super smooth, not too fast and slows right down. Very stable. I was immediately comfortable doing figure 8s 2ft off the ground. I am normally a balsa flyer and this was my first Flite Test build and I already ordered two more kits! Follow the video and take your time and you will be greatly rewarded!!

Flite Test FT P-38 Lightning Electric Airplane Kit (1460mm)
Great flyer. Tough build, but with Josh's video it is doable. After working on this plane for several days, I was finally ready for the first flight. No problem when I hand launched it. Very stable. Easy aerobatics. Plane flew into ground after about a minute flight time. I used a defective Y cable, and the red side of the Deans connector came loose at the battery. At least I new what happened. It wasn't a problem with the plane. This is really a nice looking plane when completed, and it flies well. This is not a plane for beginners, building or flying. I will but another one, but not till I'm ready to spend time on the build. If you want another LARGE twin, try the A-10 from Flite Test. It is easier to build, and flies fantastic. Very impressive.
