Blade Nano QX RTF

Current stock: 0

The tiny Nano QX is RC flying fun you can take with you everywhere. The Nano QX weighs little more than half an ounce and is small enough to fly in spaces no bigger than an office cubicle. Never flown a quad-copter before? No problem. The Nano QX uses the SAFE™ technology system with sophisticated flight control software to keep itself stable in a hover while in stability mode. If you get in trouble, just let go of the sticks. The SAFE technology system will bring the Nano QX back to a hover all by itself. Once you've mastered the basics, you can switch the SAFE system to agility mode for faster flying speeds and more maneuverability.

SAFE stands for Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope and is central to the performance of the Nano QX. Even new pilots will feel comfortable with the Nano QX in stability mode because SAFE will make sure the quad is always in control and in an upright fashion. You will feel an immediate sense of confidence and be flying around like a pro in no time!

Happy, but Sad - Then Happy

Happy: I got the Nano QX in expected time frame and it was ready to fly out of box as advertised. I flew it for 2 batteries in my apartment - heaps of fun. No major crashes or devastating incidents. But Sad: I took it our of box next day and found that the front Clockwise(CW) rotation motor was seized and would not spin. I went online and quickly found replacement motor to replace front CW motor, cost a little over 10$ Then Happy: Got motor a few days later and checked out a few You tube videos on how to replace a motor. Not much content out there so it was a bit of a trial and error. I would recommend to flight test to make a full dismantle and reconstruct video for users wanting to fix/replace or upgrade parts. I am new to drones and RC stuff so i was in dark on this topic. The small white connector that connects the black and white wire of the CW motor to the control board was very very difficult to take out. It seemed to be stuck in. I found one other person online with similar issue ... it took some time to get it out ... via use of small screwdriver, needle nose pliers, a deep breath, a very firm consistent pull with slight back and forth to get it disconnected .The white plastic connector i was removing was completely destroyed & wires pulled out by the time i was done. I thought i was going to damage the main control board / white connection point ... luckily i did not. Connection of the new motor was a breeze after i got the old one out. Flew like a dream after with no issues. Overall i am very happy with the purchase and its my first drone. I suppose you need to be ready/willing to fix when it comes to RC stuff. Like i said i could not find similar issue online or guidance on how to fix so i suspect this may be uncommon for new Nano QX. I was not going to let a stuck motor get in the way of my flying career! :)

great tool for getting serious

I am a beginner when it comes to rc flight. This is a great package to jump in and it helped me figure out if it was actually for me. I have to say, it was exactly what I expected and it is as fun as it looks.
