I'm pretty new to the hobby but have made a few Tiny trainers and an FT Explorer only to have them crash repeatedly because of my flying inexperience. This software was easy to install on my Windows 10 PC and connected flawlessly with my new DX6.Now things are looking up!
I initially started training on Phoenix with a Foamy and was amazed at how close to reality the flight model was. I then tried a few other models and started to see how differently each responded to the flight controls. I'm now beginning to get the hang of things and can complete a few circuits before I crash!
Phoenix isn't cheap and I thought twice before purchasing it, but the savings in props, motors and rebuilds will more than offset over time.Stew G

A must have
Whether we're experienced RC pilots experiencing weather that bars our ability to fly out doors or new to the hobby, this tool can help in SOOO many ways
It was easy to install and hook up to the transmitter.
There's a huge number of spelling errors in the dialogue boxes but that's no impact.
Made even better are the HUGE volume of RC aircraft from fixed wing to helis to quads. Trump that up with many user made models.
So, in my limited experience with foamies, this rc environment helps me develop my skills by removing the dynamics of weather, then allows you to add them in when confidence is up.
If it weren't for Richard Kennedy putting so many FT models out there, i probably might have abstained from buying the software. Lol. No seriously. If you fly RC, you really need a training tool such as this to keep the repair/replacement costs down.
