What a DEAL!! This 2-in-1 Combo Pack includes the Mighty Mini Mustang and the Mighty Mini Corsair! Combo's are agreat way to get into the hobby affordably by saving some money as well as saving yourslef the hassle of searching for another option! We did the work for you! So, Whether you are looking for high flying acrobatics or relaxed back yard park soaring, both of these GEMS allow for a wonderful and exhilerating flight experience! So, on that note... LETS FLY!!
The Mighty Mini Corsair is the perfect size to always keep with you in the back seat of your car and is small enough to fly at most medium sized parks. Though this little Corsair doesn't have the 2,000 HP Pratt & Whitney R-2800 radial engine that the original full-scale warbird had, it does use a 2204 sized brushless motor that is commonly found on mini race quads. This gives this little 4 channel plane enough power to climb vertically endlessly and pull off most basic aerobatic maneuvers with ease.
The P-51 is definitely one of the most iconic airplanes of all time and this one sheet foamboard airplane kit is a great way to experience the great flight characteristics of this icon. Using 4 channels, and the power of a 2204 size brushless motor which can often be found on mini racing quads, the Mini Mustang has more than enough power for endless vertical climb, and most basic aerobatic manuvers such as knife edge. With it's wide flight envelope, this little Mustang can fly slow enough easily be flown at a decent sized park.

Please watch recent build videos before removing any paper from the foam! Some videos may use white foam board, which is no longer available and has now been replaced with water-resistant foam board.
I haven't put them together yet but the package arrived quickly and I expect it will be a great product like other things I have purchased. Thanks. PA on 13th Mar 2017
Came very fast even though I live in canada. Everything was in perfect condition and it was very simple to build. Almost didn't have to use the video. Unknown on 10th Feb 2017
Bought this pack for me and my brother in law. The Mustang foam board was wavy but still assembled very nicely. The Corsair went together perfectly except for a servo that got hot glue in it. Unknown on 29th Dec 2016
i purchased the war bird combo pack. for me and my little brother. easy and quick build. extremely sturdy and yet keeps it very light weight. little rippers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. do your self a favor and order the reccomended electronics pack. you will need the serveos during construction. and they have the best price. i bought it sepratly at my local hobby shop and paid double Ryan Rommel on 22nd Nov 2016
I wrote about Mustang being very good and now I whant to give feedback about corsair. With Mini Corsair I have center of gravity issues. I use Turnigy D56MG micro servos, Sunny Sky X2204S motor, Turnigy 800mAh 3S 20C battery. All the same that I used in Mini Mustang build.
I added 30g of weight at the cowl and it still is a bit tail heavy. Model feels heavy with that dead weight in the cowl I wonder how it will fly.
And battery space is very small, when I insert my 800mAh battery I can't insert hatch lock, I need to use 400-600mAh battery to be able to insert it. But with this battery it will be impossible to balance it out without making it brick. I fel like droping this plane and buying second Mini Mustang. Laidukas on 13th Sep 2016
Just yesterday I maiden Mustang from this combo and hope to have opportunity to maiden Corsair soon. This was my first small RC airplane. Up till now I had few bigger EPO planes. I was afraid that this mini will be to fast and to touchy for my skills, but I was wrong, it was a blast of fun and easy flying. Practically no timing was needed from the firs toss. I found it easier to handle then bigger planes that I flew, maybe because this mini was not that sensitive to wind and it tracked superb. Felt locked on his trajectory. Love it! I have been diving into this hobby with a couple friends. We wanted some dueling warbirds and this combo was just what we were looking for. I have almost completed the mustang build and am very happy with it. The electronics from my Mini Arrow swap right over.
The kit fits the usual FT game plan. Foam board cuts are great and everything fits as described. My only concern has been in the tail section. FT does a great job of cutting the foam, but some angles are very sharp, specifically on the rudder. The unfortunate side effect of heat from the laser cuts is the foam receding at the edges. This is not going to stop you from flying, but some people may want to fill in the gap or maybe cut a fresh rudder by hand. So, have a little extra foam if you are planning a meticulous build.
Still a relatively easy build. It is taking a little more time than the mini arrow, but not much more. In all, this combo kit seems to be a great value. Especially if you want to split the purchase with a friend. I have enjoyed the build and look forward to flying. I would buy it again. Chancelor on 21st Aug 2016
Great planes, total build time for my first two planes from FT was about 10 hours. I had tons of fun building and learning from Josh and Peter. Thank you again for all you guys do! Andrew Snyder on 21st Jul 2016
This was the second and third speed build kit I purchased from the online store but my 8th and 9th plane I built this month. I really like putting together these speed build kits. My sons and I were flying the next day. I'm going to keep checking back at the store for deals like this. Mike on 3rd Jul 2016
Just tried to maiden my corsare and I have to say I looked at everyone else's reviews and thought surely the plane cannot be that bad. However I used 10 grams of weight to balance some what. It now weighs 237 grams without a battery but with minwax one coat. the plane is still out of balance and still tail heavy, How peter flew this is beyond me. The ailerons did not work and out of three attempts to launch the plane it crashed 3 times within 15 feet. just went down no matter what I did. I will now get a larger esc motor and battery and see what it can do. Have not built the mustang yet. However this is not the first time I have run into this. My Storch did the same thing, but it at least balanced. Love these guys and will continue to purchase as they got me into the hobby.
