The Hyperion Mini Cam + 600tvl VTX combines an FPV camera and a 25mW 5.8GHz transmitter into a single unit no bigger than a thimble. Its signal range is ideal for small park flyers or racing quads and it can be powered separately or through the model's receiver, or an auxiliary 2.5-5V power source.
NOTE: This camera now comes with a different power adaptor. No longer has the servo extension.
This is so awesome. I imagined it was small, but I can easily put it on any of the quads I have. I had to buy connectors so that I could switch it rapidly. Firsy FPV, so its taking a beating, flew around in the rain today, no problem. (not heavy rain) transmission seams great. Tree flying. indoors/outdoors. Can't wait to put it on my glider, and fly with it paragliding to share free flight. Michael D Vergalla on 21st Nov 2016
I stuck this on my Tiny Whoop and it works great! Kent Judkins on 29th Jul 2016
Bought this for a tiny whoop. The range is much better than I expected, video is great. Most impressed with durability, I have crashed a 100 times already and it still keeps going. DC on 22nd Jul 2016
More range, cleaner signal, and much better picture than VA 1100 Spectrum mini fpv system, but the same weight! Scott on 16th Jul 2016
Was looking everywhere for one of these since the guys released the popular tiny whoop video. Thankfully Flite Test had them in stock, super fast shipping too!
The cam itself is so impressive, I'm currently using it with attitude V2 and I'm having no problem with break up even when flying through my apartment with concert walls. I've been so impressed with this camera/tx I'm confident you could fly at least 300-400m out and still have good signal, top notch! Thank you Flite Test Smithy on 30th Jun 2016
This little camera/tx is a great super small super light plug and play unit. It arrived well packaged in a timely manner and undamaged. Although it looks quite fragile. I do plan on trying it on many different r/c aircraft and land based models. Thanks flitetest! Unknown on 23rd May 2016
Got this guy just after watching the FT episode where they hook this up to an Inductrix. I had a Air Hogs X4 laying around gathering dust, which was quickly blown off after a 5 minute session soldering this thing onboard. Works outstanding, and I can fly around my workshop with my Fatshark goggles when the weather isn't cooperating. 120 degree field of view is very wide in comparison to my normal quad cameras, but is totally usable for the purpose and doesn't take long to get used to. Make sure to use some CA to tack the lens in focus, as they come delivered just threaded on loosely. Video quality is great, particularly for 25 mw indoors, and barely lowered my normal flight times. Indoor bumper quads just got a lot cooler. Steve on 23rd May 2016
Great product does what it is supposed to do, I used this on a 250 quad, a profile 3d plane and a small hubs an drone. All good for indoor and close outdoor flying. My only issue is that it is extremely fragile. A few light crashes and the antenna was bent, a few more and it broke off the board. Not sure if there is a replacement board out there but for now it seems I am out an almost brand new camera because I just got it last week. My own fault I should have been more careful, definitely not super durable so don't crash! Todd on 23rd May 2016
used this little camera 4 times before crashing into a pvc pipe cube and broke the lens off. Tried to glue it back on but now its out of focus.
Love the camera and can't give a bad review cause i crashed it but besides that IT WAS SO MUCH FUN TO USE! DGomez_GenesisFPV on 22nd May 2016
Simple to connect period.! No more wire harness to a transmitter and then to a power source and playing around with antennas, .... Range is great, no problem flying the four corners of our flying field installed in my FT Arrow (great plane BTW). And then the icing on the cake is that it is simply amazing outdoors. The dynamic video range is so good that I can fly directly at the blazing sun and still keep the ground and surroundings visible, no problems. This and the picture is perfectly in focus and sharp. May not be HD, but it is more then enough clarity to fly and land next to my feet every time. I've bopped it around a bit to; so it proves to be pretty rugged also. Will probably buy another if they ever keep them in stock long enough to pick a second one up. DMyers on 12th May 2016
