This plane has it all! 3D capabilites, agility, speed and most of all a great flying experience! You can always expect a little "crazy" when it comes to peter's planes, but this one has just the right combination of a little crazy, a smidge of class and a whole lot of FUN! This plane will also be equiped with Water Resistant Flite Test foam board by Adams. We are hoping this foam will transcend expectations and bring about a movement to extend the quality and durability of foam airplanes as we know them! So, Take the FT Mighty Mini Vector for a spin and shoot us a review about your experience!..LETS FLY!!
FT Mighty Mini Vector - Build
Please watch recent build videos before removing any paper from the foam! Some videos may use white foam board, which is no longer available and has now been replaced with water-resistant foam board.
This was my first build the FT Mini Vector.very ez and looks great. I just can't wait to fly it. Frederick Vears on 12th Mar 2017
All the pieces came out of the foam easily and fit together perfectly. Save me a lot of time over cutting from scratch. Michael Kunz on 27th Oct 2016
This was a fun plane to build. However, a little tricky to fly. Worth the money....no doubts. :0) I would have given it a five, but, Peter needs to be more specific on the CG. His did not work for my 3 cell battery. Could be though....that I used more glue on my build than he did. :0) Paul Hicks on 20th Sep 2016
The Vector went together flawlessly and is a great flying plane. This was my first Flite Test model and was very pleased. I plan to purchase other models in the near future. Aaron on 9th Sep 2016
This was the first speed build kit I bought from Flite Test. I have previously built four Versa wings and a Kraken from downloaded plans. None of the other designs disappointed me and the Vector was no different. The kit was LASER cut and put together exactly from the build video.
I installed a Turnigy 2212 2100 kv motor and 850 mAh 3S battery, which allows for high alpha slow flight with ease. I made a small modification to the "prop and slot" by cutting a "bowtie" slot. This did make a small difference in reducing the prop noise.
This is is a great versatile park flyer. Great design, easy to build and lots of fun to fly. Unknown on 18th Aug 2016

I love The Water prof foam board Marcuz on 9th Jun 2016
it only took a day to put together, I really enjoyed it. Bought a new hot glue gun and was great experience to put together. the first test flight... it had slightly better aerodynamics than a bag of potatoes and ended up in about as good as a condition as one would expect a bag of potatoes dropped from 50 feet... First and last experience with a foam / sticky tape RC model. Sorry guys. Rodney Clarke on 30th May 2016
Poor laser cuts, would like to try the new foam board but will never need 50 sheets Unknown on 28th Apr 2016
